Villas ยท Italy

Luxury villa rental in Italy.

Staffed houses with pools, chefs and views, for the weeks when a hotel is one room too small.

The Brief

Above a certain group size, the villa wins.

Six people or more, a week or longer, and the mathematics flip. A staffed villa delivers more space, more privacy and better economics than a row of suites, plus the one thing hotels cannot sell, a house that is entirely yours, with a cook who shops the market at seven.

The market is opaque by design. The best houses never touch the listing platforms, moving through networks and repeat clients, and photographs hide more than they show. Staff quality, real distances and August noise are learned only by asking someone who has stood in the garden.

Insider Notes

Staff is the product. Everything else is walls.

Read the staffing line before the photos. Included daily housekeeping, a dedicated chef and a house manager separate a true luxury villa from a pretty rental. Chef service typically runs as cost of groceries plus a daily fee, and it is the best money of the trip.

Book winter for summer. The signature houses in Tuscany and on Como hold their July and August weeks for returning families and confirm the calendar by February. Saturday to Saturday is the standard grid in high season.

The Luxury.it Perspective

A hotel hosts you. A villa obeys you. Past a certain point, that is the whole definition of luxury.

Questions

Good to know

How much does a luxury villa in Italy cost per week
Serious staffed houses start around 15,000 to 25,000 euros per week and the signature estates run well past 100,000 in August. Divided among four or five couples, the per person math regularly beats suite rates at comparable hotels.
What is included in a staffed villa rental
Typically daily housekeeping, a house manager and pool and garden care, with chefs, drivers and boats arranged on top. Every contract differs, which is exactly what our desk verifies before you commit.
When should I book an Italian villa for summer
Eight to twelve months ahead for July and August in Tuscany, Como and the coast. The best houses confirm their summer calendars by late winter. June and September open more options at better terms.
