Yachting ยท Italy
Yacht charter in Italy.
Crewed weeks along the best coastline in the Mediterranean, from the Faraglioni to the Costa Smeralda.
The Brief
Italy is the charter itinerary other countries imitate.
No other Mediterranean coast packs this density: Capri, Positano, the Aeolian volcanoes, the granite coves of Sardinia, all within a week's cruising of each other. A crewed yacht is the only hotel that moves to tomorrow's view while you sleep.
The real decisions are route and boat, in that order. A forty meter motor yacht and a classic sailing ketch deliver different weeks on the same water, and the crew, above all the chef, matters more than an extra ten meters of length.
The Routes
Five itineraries that always deliver.
Insider Notes
Charter math, without the mystery.
The weekly rate is roughly two thirds of the story. Add the advance provisioning allowance, typically thirty percent, covering fuel, food, wine and port fees, plus crew gratuity of ten to fifteen percent. A boat listed at 100,000 per week is a 145,000 week. Knowing this upfront is what separates a good charter from a dispute.
July bases itself in Sardinia, June and September own the Amalfi run. For itineraries that cross to France and Greece, our Mediterranean charter desk takes over the map.
The Luxury.it Perspective
A villa gives you one view for a week. A yacht gives you seven. That is the entire argument.
