Book it if you want newness, design, marina energy and a more international version of Sardinia.
Avoid it if you want old-school Sardinian quiet.
5. Cervo Hotel, Costa Smeralda Resort
Best for Porto Cervo itself
Cervo is the practical Porto Cervo choice.

6. Hotel Yacht Club Costa Smeralda
Best for marina and regatta culture
Hotel Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is not for everyone. That is why it is interesting.
The official YCCS page states that the hotel has 24 suites, including a Presidential Suite, and is directly connected to the yacht-club world of Porto Cervo.

7Pines gives another angle.
It is not Porto Cervo. It is Baja Sardinia, sunset-facing, more spread out and less attached to the original Costa Smeralda myth.
