Alps ยท Switzerland
Luxury chalets in Switzerland.
Palace hotels with a century of winters, private chalets with their own chefs, and the resorts where the season actually lives.
The Brief
The Swiss winter is a choice between palace and chalet.
Switzerland invented the winter season and never handed back the trademark. The palace hotels of St. Moritz and Gstaad run the grand social version, while the catered private chalet, staffed, cheffed, ski room warmed by seven, has become the way families and groups now take the Alps.
Resorts have characters. St. Moritz is theater on a frozen lake, Gstaad is discreet money in a farming village, Zermatt is the Matterhorn and the best high skiing, Verbier is the athletic party. Choose the character before the property.

Insider Notes
The catered chalet is the real flex.
For six guests and up, a staffed private chalet in Zermatt, Verbier or Gstaad outperforms a row of hotel suites, private chef, driver on call, boot room managed, children absorbed. The signature houses release their February weeks a year out and Christmas and New Year run as fourteen night commitments.
The Alps answer Italy's mountains directly, and many clients alternate seasons with the Dolomites, Switzerland for altitude and polish, Italy for food and light. Summer here, June to September, is the quiet arbitrage, the same palaces at half tempo above green valleys.
The Luxury.it Perspective
The Swiss sell certainty, the train on time, the snow groomed, the fire lit. In a chaotic world, that is the luxury.
