When is the best time for a luxury trip to Venice

Late September through October and April through early June. Winter outside Carnival is the insider window, with fog, empty calli and rates that drop by half. July and August bring heat and the heaviest crowds.

Do I need a water taxi from Venice airport

A private water taxi is the right way in, around thirty minutes direct to your hotel dock. Book it in advance rather than negotiating at the pier, or have our desk arrange it with the hotel.
